Jason is pleased to announce that Chichester Youth Theatre will be premiering a new version A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, adapted by award-winning playwright Bryony Lavery and with a dozen new songs music and lyrics by Jason Carr at the Festival theatre in December.

Meanwhile, the West End transfer of last year’s acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory production of Jerry Herman’s La Cage Aux Folles (orchestrated by Jason) has been confirmed at last.

Watch out for news of the Chocolate Factory’s November musical – a Broadway classic which Jason is currently re-orchestrating.

Anyone fancying a trip to the south of France this winter can catch Jason accompanying Dame Felicity Lott at the Theatre Nationale de Toulouse on Sunday 28th December.

Last December, Flott treated the audience at La Monnaie (Brussels Opera House) to a splendid rendition of ‘Looking For A Bear’ from Jason's musical Six Pictures of Lee Miller.

Jason is honoured, thrilled and delighted to have won the New York Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Orchestrations for his work on Sunday in the Park with George.

Jason has also been nominated for a Tony Award for his orchestrations of Sunday in the Park with George.

Funny Girl opened in Chichester to marvellous notices – including quite a few for Jason's orchestrations!
